“Hopeful” (2nd of the 16 emotions)”: bright oranges, pinks, and yellows reigned for this emotion (from questionnaire on @sarah.hart.landolt). You feel it largely in the chest/ heart area. Also on the cheeks or on the mouth “like a smile.” Even in the fingertips or in the legs. 2 responses said hope flutters in the ribcage or near the heart ❤️ , which reminded me of a butterfly 🦋. Hence, I drew semicircles to represent the wings of “hopeful” fluttering inside us all! I painted 8 times and the one you see is the winner !
