Enneagram Type 8. Reading the data I gathered, arrows / squares/ arches and triangles were listed as geometric shapes to represent this domineering, confident type. I chose a pyramid to encapsulate the above shapes into one, and the pyramid is also very symbolic of type 8’s leadership and tendency to leave a mark on their environment. Triangles are the strongest shape (hello 8!), and the pointed acute angles are directional (read : challenging and assertive). The square base of a pyramid, designed with the majority of the weight closer to the ground, again represents type 8’s independence, physical and internal strength/ willpower/ resilience to always remain standing, no matter what the challenge and struggles faced. Most people chose “red” on the outside to represent what 8s appear on the surface: powerful, direct, confrontational, confident, energetic. As you go inward, darker blues and purples appear for magnanimity, loyalty, and heroism. Then, as you approach the center, iridescent soft blues and hidden pinks appear to symbolize their love, care and tenderness that often motivates their protective nature. The pink can also represent a vulnerability that type 8s protect so as to not appear weak. Maybe a little pain in their as well.
