Painted in July 2024. On July 9 at the studio, I pulled a card from a color deck (Prism Oracle) to seek inspiration and direction. I pulled the grey “Death” card 👻 🪦! Took it as an opportunity to leverage my favorite ink color Payne’s Grey and keep these paintings simple and monochromatic.
